Current projects

We support the work of the Reformed Church of Hungary amongst the refugees. Joining the EU meant that Hungary became one of the Eastern borders of the EU. The number of refugees rose sharply and they not only look for a home in one of the EU's countries in the West of Europe, but also stay for a considerable length of time in Hungary. Border guards and leaders of many asylum-seeker camps swiftly turned to the churches in Hungary to play a part in the counselling of people with their specific problems. The representatives of the asylum-seeker mission branch of the Reformed Church of Hungary asked the Hungarian Bible Society to provide Bible in a variety of languages to be given to the refugees. According to our ability we have always been diligent to help, but the time has come to make this request a matter of a fundraising project.
