Contacts with others

The Hungarian Bibel Society Foundation is a church organisation: formed by the Protestant Churches in Hungary and by the Orthodox Church (Orthodox Church-District) - its decisions, publications and programmes are all approved of by the board of trustees. The aim of the Bible Societies is to help the churches in the countries they are in and to provide them with Bibles: in our case it can only be done most effectively by the cooperation with our member churches.
At the same time according to the example of Bible Societies working in the West of Europe (which have traditionally all been civic-organisations) we too would want to keep in touch with individuals for whom that cause of the Bible is an important matter, including its text, its publishing and its distribution. This is why we highly value your feedback in relation to the work of the HBS.
